Plots 19-21 are situated on the rim of the new urban development area of Bern-Brünnen. The project completes the prevailing urban pattern of the masterplan with its linear and grid like plots. The chosen building typologies on plots 19 and 20 react to the linearity of the site with extremely reduced slabs containing shot-through studio apartments. The building on plot 21 with its all sided orientation establishes an entrance situation to the new development area. A shelf like, modular construction system reflects the inner organization and unites the three buildings into one urbanistic entity.
